Terms of Service

Welcome to Bonva. By accessing or using Bonva (available at bonva.app and through our mobile applications), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, please do not use Bonva.

Bonva is operated by SolenLabs LLC, a limited liability company registered in Washington State.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using any part of Bonva, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, you have read and agree to these Terms, and you agree to our Privacy Policy.

2. Description of Service

Bonva is a relationship wellness platform offering:

• Relationship quizzes and scoring tools
• Nova — an AI-powered relationship coaching assistant
• Daily conversation questions
• Guided relationship journeys and activities
• Couples coaching features
• Personal tracking tools including mood logs, timelines, and bucket lists
• Partner linking so both partners can share progress and insights

Bonva is a wellness tool, not a substitute for professional therapy, counseling, or medical advice. Nova is an AI assistant and is not a licensed therapist, psychologist, or mental health professional. Nothing in Bonva should be construed as professional mental health advice.

3. Free and Premium Plans

Free Plan: Users on the free plan have access to the relationship quiz, daily questions, and limited Nova sessions (3 messages per day, resetting daily).

Individual Premium ($12.99/month): Provides unlimited access to Nova, all Journeys, the Love Language Quiz, Couples Quiz, Settle It, and all premium features.

Couples Plan ($19.99/month): Covers both partners with all premium features plus the Couples Coaching experience and partner linking.

Annual Plan ($84.99/year): Individual premium billed annually at a reduced rate.

All pricing is in USD. Prices may change with 30 days' notice. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.

4. Payments and Refunds

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize SolenLabs LLC to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting support@bonva.app. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you will retain access until then.

We offer a 24-hour full refund for new subscribers who are not satisfied. Refunds after 24 hours are issued at our discretion. To request a refund, email support@bonva.app.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Bonva only for lawful, personal purposes. You agree not to:

• Use Bonva to harass, abuse, or harm others
• Share false, misleading, or harmful information through the platform
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
• Reverse engineer, copy, or redistribute any part of Bonva
• Use automated tools or bots to access Bonva
• Use Bonva in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations

6. Nova — AI Coaching

Nova is powered by Anthropic's Claude AI. By using Nova, you acknowledge:

• Nova is an AI, not a human therapist or counselor
• Nova's responses are generated by an AI and may not always be accurate, appropriate, or applicable to your situation
• You should not rely on Nova for emergency mental health support — please call 988 or your local emergency services
• Your conversations with Nova are processed by Anthropic's API in accordance with their Privacy Policy
• SolenLabs LLC is not liable for any decisions made based on Nova's responses

7. Partner Linking

The partner linking feature allows two users to connect their Bonva accounts. By connecting with a partner, you consent to sharing basic profile information (name, quiz scores, and daily question answers) between linked accounts. Either party may disconnect at any time through Settings.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and features of Bonva are the property of SolenLabs LLC and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of Bonva without our written permission.

Content you create within Bonva (such as timeline entries, bucket list items, and notes) remains yours. You grant SolenLabs LLC a limited license to store and display this content to provide you the service.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Bonva is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. SolenLabs LLC does not guarantee that Bonva will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any results obtained through Bonva will be accurate or reliable.

We are not responsible for the state of your relationship, decisions made based on Bonva's content or Nova's responses, or any outcomes arising from your use of the platform.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SolenLabs LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of revenue, or emotional distress, arising from your use of or inability to use Bonva.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of Bonva shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Snohomish County, Washington.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Bonva after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time using the account deletion option in Settings or by visiting bonva.app/delete-account.html.
